Cultured ecologies in winter

I’m frequently asked how cultured ecologies do in winter. Tahoe got around 3 feet of snow at lake level about a week before this photo was taken (1-10-08). There has been some melting and settling since then. As you can see the cultured ecology is bubbling along happily.
