I’m frequently asked how cultured ecologies do in winter. Tahoe got around 3 feet of snow at lake level about a week before this photo was taken (1-10-08). There has been some melting and settling since then. As you can see the cultured ecology is bubbling along happily. These tanks were seeded in late October 2007 and again in mid November. [...]
